Mr Wong Kee Yew, founder of The Veg School, invited Earth Society
to set up a booth and gave a short presentation to the attendees of “Vegetarian
Healing” Course @ National Library Central on 13 Apr.
During the course, Earth
Society members set up and manned a booth from 9.30am till 1.30pm. Mr Low gave
a 20 mins presentation on how reducing meat consumption would help to reduce the
environmental impact that humans placed on the planet.
After the course, Ms Magdeleine Kwan,
wrote an appreciative email to us, “Earth Society members are doing a wonderful
and respectful job. Totally enthusiastic and passionate from the way you
presented to us. Have seen the VCD you’ve handed to us. Message is
clear. It’s critical that we all need to do our part however small. I
would love to join you guys to help in one way or other. Keep up the good work.”
