On 22 Apr, Earth Society team reached Chua Chu Kang Primary at 7.15 am. We conducted a Global Warming talk for P1 to P6 students from 7.30 am to 8 am. We presented on the effects of Climate change on the world (Droughts, floods, Arctic Ice melts etc) and showcased various solutions that scientists recommended to curb climate change. (Plant trees, Eat less meat, Green energy and 3Rs). We also touched on environmental issues such as Deforestation, the Global use of food resources and World Hunger.
Teachers and students listened attentively to the talk.

Informative session. Introduction was engaging and captured students’ attention. The use of numbers to make comparison to show how our actions can affect the environment was good.
