Mdm Poh Cheng, from Good Shepherd Mission, invited Earth Society to conduct a Global Warming talk for their preschool teachers on 21 Nov. They hope to inculcate ecological consciousness in their staff and make it a way of life.
On 21 Nov, Earth
Society team
reached Good
Shepherd Mission (Toa Payoh Center) at 12 pm. We conducted a Global
Warming talk for 50 preschool teachers from 12.15 pm to 1.15 pm. We presented on the effects of Climate change on the
world and showcased various solutions that scientists recommended to curb
climate change. (Plant trees, Eat less meat, Green energy and 3Rs). We also
touched on environmental issues such as Deforestation and World Hunger.
The preschool teachers listened attentively to the talk. After the talk, many teachers were interested in our Climate change Booklets which provided more info on Climate change.
