Assembly talk at Maris Stella High and White Sands Primary (Apr)

Ms Ariana Ong, a teacher in Maris Stella High (Primary), invited Earth Society to conduct an Assembly talk for the lower primary students on 01 Apr.

On 01 Apr, Earth Society team reached Maris Stella High (Primary) at 10.35 am. We conducted a Global Warming talk for the P1 to P3 students from 10.50 am to 11.20 am. We presented on the effects of Climate change on the world and showcased various solutions that scientists recommended to curb climate change. (Plant trees, Eat less meat, Green energy and 3Rs). Students listened attentively to the talk.

Mdm Joyce Soon, HOD Science in White Sands Primary, invited Earth Society to conduct an Assembly talk for the school cohort on 17 Apr.

On 17 Apr, Earth Society team reached White Sands Primary at 8 am. We conducted a Global Warming talk for the P1 to P6 students from 8.15 am to 9 am.
Students listened to the talk and participated actively in the Quiz at the end of the talk. After the talk, we set up and manned a booth at the school canteen from 9 am to 11 am. Many students visited our booth to get more info and provided feedback for the Assembly talk.
