On 26 Apr,
Earth Society team reached Presbyterian High at 11.25 am. We conducted a Global
Warming talk for Sec 1 to Sec 5 students from 11.40 am to 12.30 pm. We presented on the effects of Climate change on the
world and showcased various solutions that scientists recommended to curb
climate change. (Plant trees, Eat less meat, Green energy and 3Rs). Students and teachers listened
attentively to the talk.
After
the talk, we set up a booth at the school canteen to pass more info to the
students. We manned the booth from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm. Students and teachers visited our booth to provide
feedback for the GW Assembly talk.
Mdm Teo Jo-hsuan, a teacher in Chung Cheng High, invited Earth Society to conduct an Assembly talk for Sec 1 students on 30 Apr. This is the 8th year Chung Cheng High invited us to speak to their students.
On 30
Apr, Earth Society team reached Chung Cheng High at 7.45 am. We conducted a
Global Warming talk for the Sec students from 8 am to 9 am. We left the school
after the talk.
