Earth Society to conduct a company lunch talk for 30 employees on 20 May.
We had conducted a Global Warming talk to their staff on Nov last
year. This is the 2nd year their EHS (Environment, Health and Safety)
team invite us to conduct a talk.
On 20 May, Earth Society
members reached Jebsen & Jessen at 11.15 am. We conducted
an Environmental Conservation talk for the staffs from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm.
We presented on the situation of Overfishing in our Oceans, Deforestation on our Land, and Green house gas emissions in our Atmosphere. We covered topics such as overfishing, biodiversity losses, factory farming, climate change and water shortage.
Staffs of Jebsen &
Jessen listened attentively to the talk. In the Q & A session, many staffs asked questions on factory
farming, Genetically Modified Food (GMO) and Over fishing. We had a fruitful
discussion and many staffs were enthusiastic about protecting the environment
after the talk.
