GW talk @ Riverside Primary (May)

Mr Shahnaz, Teacher-in-charge of G-Cube Club in Riverside Primary, invited Earth Society to conduct a classroom talk for the G-Cube Club students on 22 May.

On 22 May, Earth Society team reached Riverside Primary at 2 pm. We conducted a Global Warming Assembly talk for 40 G-Cube Club students from 2.15 pm to 3.30 pm. We presented on how Global Warming is affecting the world and showcased various solutions to climate change. (Plant trees, Eat less meat, Green energy and 3Rs). The students listened attentively and participated actively in the Quiz at the end of the talk.

Teacher’s Feedback

The talk today is very localised and relevant to primary school students. The language, text, videos used are suitable for the students to understand. The Quiz at the end of the talk wraps up their understanding in a meaningful way. Thank you Earth Society for the enriching talk for our students.
– Mdm Tay Pei Pei, Teacher-in-charge, G-Cube Club, Riverside Primary.

Students’ Feedback

I like the talk. I learnt a lot about how to save our Mother Earth. I did not know that in the North and South Poles, the ice are melting very fast and the polar bears are affected. – Nurul, P6, Riverside Primary

I enjoyed the talk. I learnt about the cows giving out green house gas and Veggie Mondays to help the world.  – R.V.Hari Varshini, P6, Riverside Primary.
