Mrs Ivy Wai, a science teacher from Loyang
Primary, invited Earth Society to conduct an Assembly talk to their school
cohort on 24 Sep.
On 24 Sep, our team reached Loyang
Primary at 9.15 am. We set up and manned a booth at the school canteen from
9.20 till 10.20am.
We conducted a Global Warming Assembly talk for the P1
to P6 students from 10.30am till 11am.
The following are some feedback from the teachers who attended the talk.
Teachers’
Feedback:
Thanks to Earth society for the highly interesting talk. It is
very informative and the message is very important.
– Mrs
Liew, teacher, LYP.
Thank you so much for the
sharing. It has indeed created more awareness to everyone on how we human
actually create our own destruction. I will take part in the meat-out Thursday!
- Ms Sarah, teacher, LYP.
A well-paced and clear presentation. More dialogue (i.e. get the
pupils to repeat key statements) will create bigger imprint on the mind of the
young. The seeds of environmental protection are planted. – Science teacher,
LYP.
