Singapore Polytechnic Env Workshop (07 Oct)

Singapore Polytechnic Environment Club leader, Miss Elaine Sam, invited Mr Low to give a 1hr presentation + Q&A to 20 SP Env club students on 07 Oct. SP environment club is having a 3 day event to teach club members on the environment & survival skills such as trekking, topography, outdoor cooking etc.

The students are very interested in the talk. They asked many questions on Global Warming & how to help the planet. The session was extended for another 20 mins due to the lively dialogue session with the students. : )

Some feedbacks from students are as follows:

I understand the seriousness of Global warming and rising sea levels. This talk is very detailed and informative. I will reduce the consumption of beef/meat and involve more in Saving Earth events to put in an effort in helping the Earth.
- Li Ying Nan, SP student, Env Club member

Very informative, especially with the numbers and statistics provided. Speaker was well prepared and versed in the relevant topic.
- Ng Jian Ming, SP Student

I have learn quite a number of facts. I will play my part more effectively after the seminar
- Oi Jun Hong, SP student.

It was great having your workshop for our committee members at our Sub-Committee Camp 2011. All of us from SP ENV felt your strong passion & the need to let more people know about your efforts as well as the environmental message that you and your team are spreading. We would like to invite you again to spread the message to the rest of Singapore Polytechnic not just to SP ENV club.
- Ms Elaine Sam, Committee Member of Singapore Polytechnic Env Club
