Assembly talk @ Stamford Primary (Mar)

Mrs Lim Hwee Mian, Environment Team teacher in Stamford Primary, invited Earth Society to conduct an Assembly talk for the school cohort on 21 Mar. This is the second time Stamford primary invited us to talk to the students.

On 21 Mar, Earth Society team reached Stamford Primary at 7.15 am. We were greeted by Ms Amelia in the school canteen. Ms Amelia was putting up some Global Warming Quiz Boards in the canteen.

We conducted a Global Warming Assembly talk for P1 to P6 students from 7.40 am to 8.05 am. We presented on how Global warming is affecting the world and showcased various solutions to climate change. (Plant trees, Eat less meat, Green energy and 3Rs). Teachers and students listened attentively to the talk.

After the talk, students went to the canteen and read more info on Global Warming from the Quiz boards. They also had fun completing the Quiz questions on the boards.

Ms Amelia compiled some teachers’ feedback for the talk and email to us after the event.
