We conducted a Global Warming talk to the P1 to P3 students from 11.10 to 11.50 am. We conducted another Assembly talk to the P4 to P6 students from 12.40 to 1.20 pm. Students listened attentively to the talks and participated actively in the Quiz after the talk.

Feedback from Teachers:

Teachers (P1 to P3):
- The children were quite fidgety but I think the message got across to them. They could respond to the questions asked and were able to reiterate the message of Vege Thursday.

- A very informative and interesting session. The use of videos engaged the young audience. Speaker was also mindful to use words like “encouraged to eat more vegetables”. Use of Q n A helped engage audience. Perhaps can invite selected pupils to stand as many pupils stood up to see who was selected.

Teachers (P4 to 6):

- Very informative and pupils were listening attentively. Slides were good and speaker was able to share with the pupils as he was able to come down to their level.

- Excellent and adequate information given to raise awareness. Speaker is engaging and pupils are attentive as the videos and facts presented are easy to understand and informative.

Feedback from Students:

I definitely learn a lot from the talk, like how daily adjustments to our lifestyle can change the world. Definitely a strike of realization.  - Nur Husna, Sec 2, YiShun Secondary

I have learnt that everyone plays a major role in preventing climate change. Climate change affects the entire globe. If climate change continues, calamity will occur. Hence, it is essential for the human race to unite and save the only Earth we have. – Phang Kai Bin, Sec 4, Anderson Secondary

I learnt that the world is in danger. I also learnt the steps I can take to make a difference. I hope to share the information with others.  – Shritha, Sec 1,  Anderson Secondary

I hope the talk will inspire people to start saving the Earth and prevent climate change. Hopefully, more people will go meatless on Thursdays and help to stop global warming.  - Cheryl, Sec 1, Anderson Secondary.
